BYE BYE BYE-YI

My dear friends.....I am so sad....seriously....so sad....but I've had to shut down the blog due to circumstances beyond my control which were exposing my family to dangerous situations.

Thank you so much for the mountains and mountains of encouragement which you have lavished upon me and the opportunity you gave me every day to express myself and also to share what God has done in the lives of our family. We have REALLY enjoyed being a part of your bloggy family circle.

I shall miss you!

With lots of love from Lisa

  2. I, too, shall miss you and your happyfunnysillygodly stories and thoughts, shared from your heart. I am sorry that the world can't allow us to be transparent and 'out there' for one another. But without a doubt, your family's safety is priority #1. God bless and keep you. The Lord make His face to shine upon you. And give you peace forever. Amen. Farewell, fun bloggy friend.

  6. Lisa,

You know I love you guys and I'm sad to lose the Motherlode blog. At the same time, you know what's best for your family. I hope you save all of your posts into a book form. Your kids will love reading them when they're grown and have families of their own.

    Love you!

  24. Oh no! I just found this blog today. I was so excited to read another military wife's perspective on adopting a HepB+ China doll. Sounds like we have lots in common. I can't even begin to imagine what made you stop your blog. Perhaps I'm naive! Best wishes to you and your family.

  26. Sorry to see you go - Loved the Blog - if you come up with a secure enough alternative, please come back - but I understand the concerns. I'm not sure passwording does it and links aren't always a good thing.

  27. whoa! I'm going to miss you. I wish you could tell us a little bit more. Is the blogging world a dangerous place? Should I not blog? So many questions. I hope all is well. You are such a funny writer. Sad you are gone. -Julie

  30. Lisa, I am glad for only one reason. That you are doing the best you can to keep your family safe. You have caused me to re evaluate the way I open my blog/family to the public. I only read you occasionally but when I did I always enjoyed your writing. I am Eileen's friend from DC who you have linked to before FYI. All the best to you!
